Week 17: Fun-filled Weekend

Saturday. I had a movie date with Joni and Tif. We watched "The Avengers" at ATC. Actually, that was my second time to watch the movie. The first time was with (of course) Marco & Sam on its first day screening.

So, we got to exchange updates on our lives. Well, Tif is my officemate and I can always click her name on RM and check her for updates. But Joni? It's been a long time since we last saw each other. So, the moment I saw her, I immediately started my prepared stories. And yeah that includes my secret follower-slash-hater story. But talking with Joni was a little hanged because I have to see my doctor and she also had an appointment with her dentist. That left me and Tif go for a shopping! I'm addicted to bags and shoes, but never to clothes, (and I don't know why). I got a new pair of flats! Tif tried a lot of tops but didn't get one. Haha!

Week 16: A Week of Happiness

A lot of things happened this week. That includes brother's 25th birthday and movie+bowling date with bestfriends. Ambo's birthday seemed to be a mini reunion for us, because our cousins came over and also his ex-girlfriend! Well, that's the catch. He's been flirting with a lot of girls after their break-up, girls that I really don't like for him. They are too young, because some are still studying. But I do not put the blame on them because as far as I remember, I began flirting when I was 13. Yikes. So, when I heard that he brought home a girl, I was so happy to see his ex. They make a good match!

The movie+bowling date happened on a Thursday. Of course, because of this super nice privilege, I was able to see "The Lucky One", half the prize! Well the movie was just a bonus. Because what I am really happy about is the three of us going out more frequent nowadays. See? The privilege is just so helpful and bonding-friendly! 

The movie is great. I love Zac Efron ever since. So, having him as the lead character is a plus-plus. It's good, but I find Nicholas Sparks' The Notebook film adaptation a way better. After the movie, we went for something sporty. Bowling! I'm not really into sports, but bowling with them? Hah! Awesome!

Week 15: Into Driving

The Lenten season is over, and so the 4-day vacation. Now, I am back to reality. I didn't do anything much on a weekend, so I'll write something personal.

Lately, I've been talking to my friends about extra-curricular activities. I really want a new addiction in life. I am thinking of driving and hitting the gym. But there are a lot of things they suggested.

• Bartending
• Baking/Cooking
• Sports
• Pole Dancing
• Diving

Definitely, I will not go into sports, not a sporty type. Bartending and baking sound interesting, but I think it's too expensive to be a hobby. So, I'll stick with my first choice and that's driving. To start with, I need a student license. I asked my brother to be my mentor and he said 'Yes!' already. I have this in mind a few months ago. I even printed the application form from the LTO for the license. So, this time, I'll put everything in action. I can do this.

These realizations make me look forward to a more interesting tomorrow. I can't wait to see myself driving.

Week 14: Family Reunion

The much-awaited reunion of the clan has come to reality. I am super happy to see their happy faces while the host hands the microphone from one family to another. It's such a great honor to be part of this family. We have the coolest uncles and aunts even at their old ages. And I got to see my cousins, too! It's been a long time since I saw some of them, considering that our last reunion was more than 15 years ago. Imagine that. Some of them were not even born yet.

I'll post a separate entry in my wordpress account regarding this. This was how we celebrated the Holy Week. Getting together.

Week 13: Meet Pamela Xiana

On Saturday, we went to Marco's house. I got to see everyone in the family. Tita Cresenciana (Marco's mom), his brother Carlo and wife Apple, and the youngest Aji, too, and of couse Pam.

I don't remember the last time I visited the Gallego's in Silang, Cavite. But if I am not mistaken, it was Pam's birthday. We usually have a year-end celebration at Marco's place but we missed last year's. Pam is Marco's only niece. And everybody is really fond of her angelic face and now her bibboness. She's very talkative, and you'll love it.

We didn't really do anything much on our stay except for eating, photoshoot and playing with Pam. Sam and I watched the first quarter of the movie, The Rite, but unable to finish it because... we fell asleep. But I will definitely watch that movie. I am really curious to know what comes next after the lead character was sent to Rome to study Excorcism.

Anyway, I got a very nice sleep at that time. The weather is very cool plus I love their sofabed, very relaxing. We have to leave early because traveling at night is not really a very good idea at Marco's place. So that's how I enjoyed my weekend with bestfriends. Truly, a day spent with friends is a day well-spent.
